2.5D Models

2.5D MODELS are produced for urban and suburban areas with multitype buildings, vegetation and other obstacles that have an essential effect on wave propagation.  2.5D Models are combination of 2D Urban Models and an additional layer of Clutter Heights – clutter classes with an average height attribute.

 

The average height attribute is defined for each clutter class separately as a fixed value, which applies for the whole clutter class.

Average heights are specified individually for each project.

 

2.5D Models help you keep your costs down comparing with the cost of 3D Models price but create in addition the accurate and precise coverage.

 

 

 

2.5D Urban Models data set:

  • Digital Terrain Model (DTM)
  • Clutter / Land Use Model (20 classes)
  • Clutter Heights Model
  • Vector Model (8 classes)
  • Text Labels (names of settlements, rivers, railways, etc.)

Additional layers may be included as well:

  • Orthoimagery
  • Population Distribution Data

 

2.5D Urban Models may be integrated with 2D Urban or Regional ones to improve their accuracy in urban and suburban areas.
